Let’s talk about Katie.Katie joined Horsepower just 8 months ago after relocating with her family, looking for a way to rebuild consistency and energy in the middle of a busy life with five kids. While she’s always enjoyed working out, finding something sustainable—and a place that could keep her accountable—was the real goal.


Fast forward to now, and Katie has completely elevated her fitness. She’s stronger than she’s ever been, fully bought into weight training, and showing up 5–6 days a week. For her, carving out time to train isn’t just about fitness—it’s what helps her manage the chaos of everyday life and show up better for her family.


But the biggest transformation goes beyond strength.


“Not only has it helped me physically, but it’s a huge stress reducer. It starts my day off right and gives me more energy.”


Katie embraces every part of the program—even SWEAT days—and thrives on the balance of strength and high-intensity work throughout the week. Outside the gym, she stays active walking, running, and keeping up with her kids’ nonstop schedules.


You’ll usually find Katie pushing for heavier lifts, tracking progress, and celebrating those small wins that add up over time. She fuels with a focus on protein (with room for sweets—balance matters) and recovers with movement like long walks.


And her go-to post-workout treat? A chocolate protein shake 🍫


Katie’s favorite part of Horsepower?“The community. Moving here in August, it gave me a place to connect. When you can joke with people during a tough workout, it makes you want to keep coming back.”


Her advice to anyone just getting started?“Consistency over perfection!”
