Alexa found a love for fitness from a very young age. She began gymnastics when she was two and competed at State and Regional competitions for 14 years. Shortly after, she found a love for CrossFit in 2014, competing at worldwide competitions such as Granite Games, The Fittest Experience, and Wodapalooza 6x; winning in 2016. Alexa then took on running with her friends in 2020 and completed 5 half marathons and a full marathon in 2023.

She began her coaching career with gymnastics and CrossFit kids, then discovered she loved helping people of all ages with their fitness journey. Beginning in 2018, she has coached at three different CrossFit gyms and multiple personal training studios, finding her home and fit-fam at Horsepower. She believes functional fitness and weightlifting is key to results and daily success. Helping her clients’ reach their fitness goals and watching their mindset and life improve is the reason she loves her job.

Alexa is also the owner / creator of KRYPTONITE Creative Dept. During achieving her bachelor's in art and minor in marketing, she created her own Design Brand, Kryptonite Design Co. in 2016, designing and creating for brands around America. In 2022, she wanted to create something of her own, KRYPTONITE Apparel, that was truly unique and empowered others to be Anything BUT Ordinary.

When she’s not fitness-ing or designing, you can find her (crazy) adventuring in nature or cities all over the world with her husband Chris, discovering unique coffee shops, jamming at a concert, snapping creative pics, eating some incredible food, and obviously finding some tasty treats. She adores hanging with her friends, family, and pups; Rosie, Copper, and Baxter and is always down for a spontaneous trip!
