Carrie found a love of fitness while raising her two boys as a stay at home mom. Wanting to set a healthy example for her children she fell in love with endurance racing and triathlon. After becoming a cycle instructor part time as she trained for her races, she felt she had found her calling. As an endurance athlete, she has completed a full Ironman, 14 Ironman 70.3 events including the 2021 World Championship in St. George Utah, 4 marathons and countless short course events. As her children got older and more involved with their own sports, long hours of training were no longer an option. That’s when she found a love of weight lifting. With several strength centric certifications under her belt and 7+ years of lifting experience, she firmly believes that strength is the most important piece of healthy aging and longevity.
When she isn’t throwing plates in the gym, Carrie is with her two teen boys at a practice or event hollering on the sidelines. Her favorite recreations include travel, reading, cooking (and eating), and trying to learn something new. Her personal mantra is “You either win or you learn. There is no fail.”
