Let’s talk about Matt.
When he first joined Horsepower a year ago, his motivation was simple: “No more dad bod.” Fast forward to today and Matt isn’t just showing up—he’s redefining his limits. From powering through SWEAT days that feel like a death march to staying consistent six days a week, Matt has proven that discipline and mindset can change everything.


For him, fitness is more than just physical. “It changed everything for me. The momentum from a morning workout makes me way more effective in every area of my life.” That clarity keeps him pushing forward—and the idea of being “average” isn’t an option.


Matt’s recovery game is just as strong: regular sauna + cold plunges, fueling with 200g of protein daily, and always reaching for a Blue Raspberry FitAid post-workout. Outside the gym, you’ll catch him on the ice playing hockey, hiking, or getting in a peaceful morning dog walk.


His favorite part of Horsepower? The community. “It’s a huge reason I keep coming back.” And his best advice for anyone starting out? “Two days in a row is the start of a new habit. You can’t fail if you don’t miss two days in a row.”


Beer. Pizza. Football. A nap. That’s Matt’s perfect rest day—and honestly, he’s earned it.
